Hi carcass,
My understanding was that statement 2 alone is sufficient since the following prime number combinations yield the value n=20.
1) X=7, Y=13
2) X= 17, Y=3
Please correct me if I am missing something.

But we do not have any restrictions. n=20 could also be the result of 2+18 or 16+4 BUT also two primes numbers such as 17+3
We do have two conflict answers so II is insufficient
