1) rhombus or square

2) square or rectangle

1)+2) square



2nd statement doesn't have to be only square or a rectangle, it can be any quadilateral with only 2 adj sides with 90 deg, as the 2nd stem doesn't say that the sides the equal so the rest of the 2 angles don't have to be 90 deg.

Well 1 indeed implied a rhombus or square

But 2 could be a trapzoid or square or rectangle (Mind it: It is said adjacent angles not meaning any adjacent angles)

Intersection is square hence C

I have a question - from the 2nd statement what are we supposed to infer?

Only two adjacent angles are right angles or all adjacent angles are right angles. It does not matter in this case but might for another problem.

It does not say "any" 2 adjacent angles are right angles.So, I think you cant assume all (adjacent) are right angles.

I wud say only 2 adj angles, pick any but only 2 of them

I also go for C
a and b are clearly insufficient
now, if we know that 2 adjacent angels are 90% each, and that all four sides are equal, the only figure one can form is a square
