Is the standard deviation of set Q equal to 0?

(1) The average (arithmetic mean) of set Q is equal to the greatest number in Q.
If avg. = greater number, then all the numbers are equal.
So, SD = 0
Sufficient

(2) The median of set Q is equal to the greatest number in Q.
Median = greatest number

Set can be either {2,2,2} for which SD = 0
or {0,2,2} for which SD is not zero.

Not sufficient

Since mean = greatest,
then Q consists of all identical elements. or Q has only one element
This implies that the standard deviation is 0
.. Sufficient.

(2) The median of set Q is equal to the greatest number in Q.
If Q = {1,1,1,1,1}, then SD = 0,
but if Q = {2,2,3, 3, 3}, then SD > 0. Not sufficient.
