Use Veritas SC guides, I think those are good enough.

I can relate to your SC frustrations - I've been working on SC exclusively for about two weeks, and I've made some progress. Here are some tips that I found useful:

- Despite what people tell you, the Kaplan books aren't terrible. They are extremely structured and will help you identify the typical types of errors. While the types of questions don't really reflect the OG questions; once you're finished with the book you'll be able to really easily when you see 'verb form' errors or 'parallel structure' errors.
- Once I started to hit my 'typical errors' at about an 80% hit rate on OG. I started to better understand the 'GMAT Voice' (typically this when the solutions identify solutions as 'awkward and wordy')

Please let me know if you make any progress, or learn any tips. SC questions have been ruining my GMAT test scores too.

Guys,

I did terrible in my GMAT exam, scored 26 in Verbal (though i was scoring around 35 in GMAT prep), my weakness is SC, it improved much from where i started, but still not confident. Is there any other way to improve SC?? don't think MGMAT SC helped me lot....i read that twice....made notes also but :(

Cheers

Powerscosre SC is often overlooked but is supposed to be as good as or even better than MGMAT SC.

also, i think you should make sure you understand it all as well. there are a lot of SC questions and you should make sure you redo them and understand them. Remember it is better to understand the concepts than just doing tons!

I tried that, but I don't know why I am in hurry to next question (one secret to share here, which i know was the big reason for my under performance in the real exam, i wanted to see my scores so rushed through the verbal and finished that 15 full dam minutes to spare, i know BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE).
