Hi vedha0,
To start, the process of taking (and reviewing) a CAT/mock requires a significant amount of energy and effort - and takes time to 'recover' from. This is one of the reasons why you typically should not take more than 1 CAT per week - and your last CAT should be taken about 1 week before Test Day. Since you are now so close to your Official Test Date, you should NOT take any more CATs.
As far as seeing "back-to-back" questions in the Verbal section, that's a direct result of two things: First, each set of RC questions come as a group - and since RC passages usually do not appear back-to-back, the intervening set of questions between two RC sets will be CR and SC. Second, most GMATers see far more SC prompts than CR prompts (which is one of the reasons why you can finish the Verbal section on time). Thus, you will likely have several instances during your Official GMAT in which you will see 2 or more SCs in a row - and that has nothing to do with how well you are performing.
In these last few days, you should limit your studies to general practice and light review (NO CATs and NO 'cramming') - you would be better served by getting some extra rest so that you can go into Test Day calm, clear-headed and ready to work.
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
