Hi,
I am from India and medium of instruction has been English throughout my education. Do I still need to take TOEFL?

Also, Only TOEFL would suffice or IELTS is needed?

Please note that I have cleared Business English (Higher) and certified by University of Cambridge (ESOL: English for speakers of Other Languages). I am at C1 level. There are different levels in CEF [Common European Framework], C2 being the highest and C1 ranked 2.

Please guide.
Regards,
Sachin

Well what are you planning on doing with your TOEFL score? If you are planning on going to school in an English speaking country, you'll have to call the school to check. Likewise if you are trying to get certified.

I work mostly with students preparing to go to university in the US. As a result I spend a lot of time talking with admissions officers and various schools. Almost NO schools require a TOEFL score (or anything else) from students who can prove that they went to high school (or college) where the primary language of instruction was English. They merely have to provide some proof of this (nothing fancy, usually just a letter from the school).

So yeah, as I said you probably don't need a score. I've yet to encounter an admissions department that required any kind of score from someone who can provide proof of graduation from an English-language school. The only possible wrinkle is that sometimes they require graduation plus x years of attendance (three, usually) but I guess you have that covered as well.
