The problem with this DS question is that the two statements contradict.
First stmnt tells you that x lies between 0 and 1 (both inclusive)
Second stmnt tells you that x is greater than 1.
Both cannot be true at the same time and hence this question is faulty.
Note that between 0 and 1, x^3 is less than or equal to x so answer to the question asked is 'No.
If x is greater than 1, x^3 is greater than x so answer to the question asked is 'Yes'.
