Is x an integer?

(1) x³ is an integer. If $$x=1$$, then the answer is YES but if $$x=\sqrt[3]{2}$$, then the answer is NO. no sufficient.

(2) ∛(x) is an integer --> $$\sqrt[3]{x}=integer$$ --> raise to the third power: $$x=integer^3=integer$$. Sufficient.

Hope it's clear.
