St 2. : X can be only 2

(1) \(x^4\)-16=0
\(x^4\)= 16
x could be 2 or -2 [Insuff]

(2)\(x^3\)-8=0
\(x^3\)= 8
x must be +2 [Suff]

Answer: B.
