Is x positive?

(1) (x – 3)^2 > 0

(2) x^3 – 1 > 0

I) LHS side is a square , so LHS can be positive as well as negative, hence x < 0 or x>0 NOT SUFF.
II)\(x^3 >1\) hence x>1 , x has to be positive. SUFF.

Answer B.

P.S. Mod. can this question be moved to the DS section, thank you.
