Its B ,

Folks when you solve DS check with 0 , +ve value and also -ve value .
sometimes we think its good for 2 values it works for the rest not always this is true .

on the real gmat i remember i got a probabbility question similar to the above question . initially all answers lead to B but carefully considering the numbers led to C .
