Hi,

(1) z/3 is an integer.
this clearly shows z is a int, which is multiple of 3.. suff

(2) z/2 is NOT an integer..
this only tells us that z is not a multiple of 2.. z could be 7 or 7/3.. and so on... insuff

ans A

Statement 1- z/3 is an integer.
Therefore z will be an integer since z is a multiple of 3.
Statement 2- z/2 is not an integer implies z could be a fraction or z is not divisible by 2.
Not sufficient.

Answer A.
