A glance through your profile reveals that you have performed decently academically and possess valuable work experience, along with potentially compelling extracurricular stories from your experience with an NGO.

As you are targeting Round 2 for your application, we highly recommend reattempting the GMAT. Aiming for a score of 655 or above would significantly enhance your profile and contribute to making it a potentially strong one.

Hi amit_12320
I am Priyanka, Client Manager at ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, you have rightly identified the weak spot, your GMAT score, you should atleast aim for a 655+. Anything above that score will further strengthen your chances. Your role as an associate at KPMG and a year at a startup will bring diverse and valuable professional background to the table. Adcoms are interested to see impact at your workplace and the leadership roles you have been a part of. Focus on highlighting those. It’s also great to see your consistent involvement with NGOs, which reflects a well-rounded profile with a commitment to social impact.
Do you have any significant achievements during your startup experience?

I’d be happy to dive deeper into your profile and discuss how to position it for ISB. Feel free to connect for a detailed discussion.

Good Luck!

Hello amit_12320,

Apologies for the delayed response but hope this finds you in time still.

The GMAT score is on the low side and you definitely need to work on taking it up to a 665 at least (needless to say, the higher the better).

Having said the above, the essays are a very important component of the application as well. Hence, even while you focus on achieving your target GMAT score, you should think about the narrative you will put in place in your essays. The following video will help you with the essays:

All the best!
