Academics do seem to be a bit moderate and so, it's good that you are feeling confident about GMAT. Would suggest a 685+ on GMAT. Also, you might find the following article useful:

Applying to ISB with poor or average academics
Quote:
24 months experience: Finance associate In india
20 months experience: insurance and claims in canada
1 year gap year
Pretty confident in GMAT

Eca:
Regular volunteer work , college team captains.

If I really score well in the exam is there good chances for ISB?
Please provide ur two cents
While I do not get a sense of the exact nature of your work or your goals, make sure you articulate them well in the application/essays.

So, a very good GMAT score, along with a well-crafted application, would ensure that you are in the reckoning.

Good luck!

Dear kislay24,

One glance through your profile suggests that compared to other successful applicants, your academics and extracurriculars appear around average. However, where your profile clearly stands out is in your work experience. Working across two countries has likely given you valuable exposure to diverse environments and cross-cultural teams, which can add strong depth to your application.

Pairing this international experience with a strong GMAT score can definitely help you put forward a compelling profile from an application perspective.

As for whether pursuing the PGP at ISB would be the right choice, that really depends on what you expect from the program and what your short-term and long-term career goals are. That alignment is what ultimately makes the investment worthwhile.

We would be happy to speak with you further to explore how to most impactfully present your profile and how an MBA can serve as a launchpad for your aspirations.

At Team FLY, we are a collective of ISB alumni dedicated to supporting prospective MBA applicants with profile positioning, essay reviews and interview preparation.
