The Indian School of Business (ISB) PGP application for this year (2014-15) is now open. This year, ISB has revamped its essay set significantly, providing much more room to applicants for expressing their thoughts and ideas. Salient changes and highlights:
1) The earlier essay prompt (offered in different forms from 2010-13) requiring applicants to explicitly state their achievements and make a case for their selection has been done away with. Instead, a new essay has been introduced asking applicants to talk about innovation as the basis for future success.
2) The third essay from last year (which asked applicants to discuss their most significant achievement) is now gone. In its place is a new essay which allows applicants to choose from among four options.
3) The goals essay stays more or less the same, though ISB has made some elements (such as talking about one's past career decisions and the basis for them) a bit more explicit.
