For the ISB on-the spot essays during the interview round, from what I have read from the Delhi interview invites, the questions are situational in nature. I had these questions in mind -
1. I wanted to know if this was true for all the interview locations?
2. Will the questions remain situational in nature for R2 and R3 candidates as well?
3. Does it actually count towards the points in the interview round or is it just to see if you have written your application essays with the help of Ai tools?
Dear
Vasavan,
We will try to address your questions one by one. For the first question, basis the feedback from the candidates we helped through the admission process, the questions for the on spot essay across locations seemed to be situational in nature and centered more around topics like ethics and conflict management in teams.
For the second question, while we can't guarantee if the nature of questions will remain same for R2 and R3, the overall pattern isn't expected to change much, as in the questions would ideally be framed in a way to help the committee discover a dimension to your personality and evaluate your self awareness through your articulation
For the third question, while the on spot essays don't directly influence your interview score, it is evaluated separately and still adds to the overall score for your application.
