Hi everyone,

ISB has officially kicked off its Round 1 Admission Interviews, and there are some notable changes in the process this time around. Based on our interactions with candidates interviewing in Delhi (recent weekend), here’s what you need to know!

How long before the interview are the invites being rolled out?Roughly 4 days
Instructions for the interviewCandidates were asked to bring their personal laptops to the interview venue
Interview Venue at Delhi ITC Sheraton
What could be the objective for conducting Essays Round?[align=justify]Assess the candidate's perspective and their ability to articulate thoughts independently without relying on AI tools
How was the essay round conducted?
Essay writing round preceded the interview round. Candidates completed this round on their personal laptops, connecting to the venue's Wi-Fi. Each candidate was emailed a link for the assessment, which directed them to the proctored exam
All about Essay Questions
This round consisted of two questions to be answered within 20 minutes.
The first question focused on ethics in business, while the second addressed conflict management within a team.
There was no word limit on the answers, allowing candidates to elaborate as much as they could within the time constraints.
All about the Interview Panels at the venue
Three panels conducted the interviews, all comprised of ISB alumni. Typically, each panel consisted of two alumni, with their graduation years ranging from as early as 2006 to as recent as 2018.
Interview Duration
The interview duration was shorter than in previous years, typically 15-20 minutes.
Interview Questions (not comprehensive)
Candidates were primarily questioned about their profiles, the impact they’ve made, and their clarity regarding short-term and long-term goals—specifically how ISB could help them achieve those objectives.
Overall, the tone of the interview was relaxed, friendly, and conversational, consistent with typical ISB interviews.

Hi, I had a small query. My interview location for ISB is mentioned as ITC Sheraton, Delhi. Can you help me with which ITC Sheraton this exactly is? Is it the Sheraton in Saket or the Maurya Sheraton in Chanakyapuri?
