sskk29,

You should aim to increase your GMAT FE to >=645 and apply post that. If you can do this before the R3 deadline this year, great, else R1 next year.

Feel free to reach out in case you seek any guidance around your application.

Wishing you all the best!

Hi sskk29,

Focus on improving your score and applying next year. An added year of experience will further help your case. The next few months should be spent deliberating on the things you can do to improve your profile - whether it is getting leadership experience at work or beyond work or even taking up activities that help you build on your skill-set.

In short, the next few months can be used to your advantage.

We have an Indian-schools-only consulting option that may suit your requirement. Please leave an inquiry for a free strategy session; don't worry about enrollment etc; even if we are able to give you some good insights, we will be happy.

All the best!

I am 24F, did engineering in Computer Science from good college. Wanted to apply in ISB Round 3 but got a low GMAT score.
Please help decide on should I continue with applying or not?

GMAT score(unofficial) - 595
Undergrad- 7.7 cgpa (77%)
12th- 91.2%

I have 1.4 yrs of experience at MBB (analytics role [backend role]), then a gap of 3 months(had left my job) and then currently 11 months of experience a big reputed company.
By April '26 I will have total 2.6 yrs of experience.

Should I apply this time or wait for next year since there is little time left to improve my GMAT score till the R3 deadline.
Pls guide.
Thanks!

sskk29,

Apply with a 645+ Score for R1 instead of wasting an attempt this time.
