Dear
Chinmaya47,
We believe you have an
impressive profile. You have done well academically in your 10th and 12th and have gone a step further by clearing all three levels of the
CFA, which clearly reflects your intent to upskill and take your career forward in a focused direction within finance.
While your
college GPA is on the lower side, we believe that your
initiative to pursue CFA later and build your career in a meaningful way more than makes up for it. Additionally, it seems likely that you will have
strong stories from your college days around internships and founding the college cell, which can help present your journey in the right light. We do not see this as a major letdown for your application.
Your
work experience is definitely differentiated compared to the more common applicant pool at ISB, especially those from IT or technology backgrounds. Your progression and the depth of responsibility you have taken up over the last few years in the private credit fund space will definitely play in your favour.
With a
GMAT score of 655, you are in a good place. The score is
close to the median and, when backed with a well-positioned application, can certainly work.
