Hi everyone,
I'm putting together my profile for evaluation ahead of Round 1/2 applications (targeting ISB PGP, with BITSoM and Other Tire 1 MBA colleges as additional GMAT-route options). Would appreciate any feedback on positioning, competitiveness, and areas to strengthen.

I'm putting together my profile for evaluation ahead of Round 1/2 applications (targeting ISB PGP, with BITSoM and Other Tire 1 MBA colleges as additional GMAT-route options). Would appreciate any feedback on positioning, competitiveness, and areas to strengthen.
Academic Background
- 10th grade: 74%
- 12th grade: 71%
- B.Tech, Information Technology, Velammal Engineering College — 8.9 CGPA/ 10
- Software Engineer, Ford Motor Company (Chennai) 2024 graduate, joined immediately after college
- Promoted within 1.5 years
- Working on the SAP Data Conversions team ABAP development, BODS ETL, data migration.
- Led a Rally-to-Jira migration for the team.
- Built an AI/RAG-based Analyzer tool that cut review time by 25%.
- Built a leadership visibility dashboard; managing Jira sprint planning for the team
- Two IEDC-funded IoT research projects (₹2.5L each) during undergrad

The tension in this profile is not the Toastmasters record or the research awards; it is that Ford and ISB will both look at a 2024 graduate with roughly 1.5 to 2 years of experience at application time, and ISB's PGP cohort skews meaningfully older.
- Experience at this stage reads as technically sharp but still early: the Rally-to-Jira migration and the AI/RAG tool are concrete wins, but what admissions committees want to see is decision-making consequence, not just delivery. How many people were affected, what was at stake if it failed, who signed off?
- Toastmasters leadership is genuinely differentiated here, not padding: a Distinguished Club under your presidency, a District retention role, and a Division-level trainer position together constitute an actual organizational leadership arc, which partially offsets the thin years of professional seniority.
- The 10th and 12th scores sit below the range where academics become invisible; the 8.9 CGPA from undergrad helps, but the GMAT becomes load-bearing as a result. A score comfortably above ISB's typical range is not optional for this profile.
- LASA Events and the Medium writing point toward a personal narrative, but that narrative needs a coherent post-MBA direction. Without a clear answer to why an MBA now, at two years out, the application risks reading as premature rather than ambitious.
Four months is tight but workable if the GMAT is already close.
