Hello All,
I would really appreciate if somebody could evaluate my profile:
GMAT : 700
Work Experience: 3 years at the time of application as a Design Engineer in USA having worked for 2 different MNC's
Education: MS Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State and BE Mechanical from Manipal Institute of Technology
GPA: 3.8/4 in MS and 7.5/10 in BE
To summarize my current role, I work in an Architectural Engineering firm in USA as a part of a team which comes up with design solutions for clients. Our clients include Ford, GM, Fiat Chyrsler and many more automative companies and hospitals. It involves a lot of inter-disciplinary coordination and client interaction on a daily basis. I worked on a similar role for 2 years in my previous company also based in US with a different client base which mostly included hospitals. I have also been involved with QA/QC checks during this period.
My career goal after graduation is to transition into Consulting role for a Technology, Engineering or Infrastructure company.
I am also involved in volunteering hours for my local community.

Hello Abhishek1292,
Thanks for writing in.
While your GMAT score is about 10 points under the ISB average, it should not cause any major worry.
Your international exposure and client handling experience will make for some valuable talking points in your essays, as well as, at the interview stage. The essays will be extremely crucial and if you are able to put forth a set of essays which join the dots well, you will have a strong chance at cracking ISB!
