I have got admits from ISB and Oxford. Might get one from Emory too.
Current work-ex: 52 months
Industry: Analytics
Post-MBA preference: Management Consulting
I have the same dilemma many others are facing. ISB is safe, but no international exposure. Oxford has international exposure and a steadily growing reputation, but uncertain about Job opportunity post-MBA. Emory is very good for Management Consulting, but very high investment and current state of uncertainty of jobs and opportunity to stay on in the US for international students is scary.
I am also contemplating if I should retake my GMAT (I'm feeling pretty confident I could do better with a little more prep) and start applying the 1st round and get more ambitious with places I apply to. This time my apps were pretty rushed and only in R2s. Possible con - I'm losing a year and moving away from the sweet spot of experience preferred by management consulting firms. What do the good people of GMAT club think?
