Thanks for sharing your profile. Here's my assessment for ISB Young Leaders:
Academics: Your 10th and 12th scores are solid, but the 74% graduation average is on the lower side for ISB YL, which is a competitive program. You'll need strong elements elsewhere to compensate.
Work Experience/Internships: Marketing internships are good, but ISB YL values demonstrated leadership and impact. For your application, focus on quantifying your contributions. What results did you drive? Did you lead any initiatives? The "not big firms" part actually doesn't matter as much as what you accomplished.
NGO Experience: This adds differentiation. The Amsterdam connection shows international exposure. Highlight the specific impact you created.
Academics + Research: The research paper in progress could be a differentiator. Is it publishable? What's the topic? If it's in analytics and connects to your career goals, emphasize this.
Areas to Strengthen:- GMAT/GRE Score - This will be critical given your graduation percentage. Aim for 700+ on GMAT or equivalent.
- Clear Career Vision - ISB YL wants to see a well-articulated "why MBA" and career trajectory. What's your post-MBA goal?
- Leadership Examples - College events are good, but can you point to situations where you led a team or drove meaningful change?
Your profile has potential but needs strengthening in test scores and career clarity. ISB YL is achievable if you execute well on your essays and interview. Would be happy to discuss further if you share your GMAT score and career goals.
