I am applying for the ISB YLP program, and had doubts regarding my application,
1. what type of certifications do I add in the certifications section?
I have completed various online courses such as "Intro to Finance" from Wharton online etc.
So, do I add the certificates of these courses in the certifications section since I've completed about 6-7 of them?
2. I have a specialty chemicals sales marketing startup, so which section do I input this in, Extracurricular or freelancing/internship
3. I have good acads, a 9.71 CGPA from a reputed Tier-1 College, and I am pursuing a double degree (Btech+Mtech) with a major in Chemical engineering and a minor in energy engineering, but my 12th marks were miserable due to some family issues preventing me from focusing, my 10th marks being 86%
4. I also have various accolades in extracurricular curricular, as 2-time winner of a district-level tennis tournament, Black belt karate, and Ranked 6th in India in the pyraminx event in the Indian nationals cubing competition
5. I have completed 4 internships till now, My roles being: research intern, Industrial intern, Technical consultancy intern and business analyst(Paid Heavy stipend for an undergraduate)
What would be a comfortable GMAT score for me?
Hello
Atrocious12,
Apologies for the delayed response but we hope this finds you in time still.
-Yes, you may add all certifications such as the one from Wharton to the certifications section.
-You may add information pertaining to your start-up to the Freelancing section.
Good to see some very fine extra-curricular engagements; while no score can guarantee a call, you should aim for a score in excess of 710 on the GMAT. Of course, any score over and above this will only increase your chances further.
Hope this helps.
All the best!
