Hi,
10th - 10 CGPA
12th - 96.6%
BTech - 8.8 GPA

These are good strong grades. For a ISB PGP YL competitive application target around 695 / 705.

I think you have a decent profile from what I can see; nothing too concerning academics wise although the college, etc. will matter. Right now, just focus on getting your highest possible GMAT score and avoid the noise. After you have a good score, your chances will be more clear; you cannot anyway work with a certain score in mind. You have to give your best possible shot to get into ISB.

Hi Sitara,

Good to see you working at Deloitte. It will definitely give you some rich stories to strengthen your profile.

Aim for as high a score as you can because the higher your score, the more you will stand out in the applicant pool. Generally speaking, aim for a 685+.

All the best!
Sresh

Dear Sresh,
Given that you are a 2024 graduate, you essentially have two distinct pathways available to apply to ISB. One is the newly introduced PGP YL program, which is designed for candidates with up to 24 months of work experience. The other is the flagship PGP program, meant for those with more experience at the time of joining.

One glance through your profile tells us that you have performed exceptionally well academically, which is a strong foundation. While we do not have a lot of specifics on your role at Deloitte, it is fair to assume that there could be potential to highlight meaningful impact stories from your work experience, especially if you have taken ownership of key responsibilities.

We currently do not have much information about your extracurriculars, but any specific interests or hobbies that reflect your personality or unique strengths can go a long way in helping you craft a compelling narrative for the admissions committee.
As for the GMAT Focus Edition, we believe a score of 665 and above could be considered a good range for ISB. Of course, the higher the score, the better, but with a strong academic track record and the right positioning, you can certainly put forward a solid application.

At Team FLY, we are a collective of ISB alumni dedicated to supporting prospective MBA applicants with profile positioning, essay reviews and interview preparation. We also share regular guidance on our YouTube channel. You can watch our latest video on ISB admissions essays here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZPE97krOHo

Hi Sitara,

You have a strong academic background and a great start to your career with Deloitte Consulting.

You fit well into ISB’s newly launched program, the PGP Young Leaders (PGPYL), designed for candidates with less than 24 months of full-time work experience. The Round 1 deadline for PGPYL is December 14, 2025.

To stay competitive, aim for a GMAT score in the range of 645+. A solid score, combined with impactful essays and a clear career narrative, will significantly strengthen your application.

You can read more about the PGPYL here:
