Please find attached the image of the isosceles triangle with base 5 and height 3. We need to find h. Can someone please provide a solution?

You can only solve this if you know that the two bases (the base of the larger triangle and the base of the smaller triangle) are parallel to each other. Otherwise, you can't find the answer.

Assuming you know that the bases are parallel, the two triangles are similar. Therefore, the heights will be in the same ratios as the bases.
