I did not find CircuitBHAI post to be idiotic. On the contrary, I found their post to be relaying a very important piece of information that has the potential to upend people across the world. The OP could have been more forthcoming as to where they obtained this information.
However, I understand that newcomers to the site and others who are less well-versed in social communications or for other reasons may not use the appropriate medium of expression.
This policy is very concerning. PCR tests and labs that conduct them are not easily available. They are also expensive. To expect results to be produced within 48 hours of a test is irrational. Consider the following: If the PCR test returns a positive diagnosis, then the person will not be allowed to take the test. Who will pay the enormous cancellation and refund fees? Who will compensate people for the changes in plans and the resulting losses? GMAC and Pearson are engaging in unilateral actions. Has anyone any plans to engage with these monopolistic organizations?

I have emailed Pearson team about the situation. Lets wait for their reply. I'll update the same here.

Let us not draw any generalization here. It maybe for that particular state where test center is located.
