D

parallel construction:

the only thing that has to be done with cattle is leave them alone while they feed themselves, corral them, and drive

A,B,C,E - don't support parallel

IMHO: I guess that 'all one' is redundant

The OA is C but no explanation. Can anyone give a good explanation as to why C is correct and D isn't?...

C is my choice also.

In D the three different things cannot be the only thing. Also D is passive in tone. C is active, parallel and unambiguous, as ETS would like to say.

I think C is better because it describes the order of things that must be done with cattle. The list in D implies three independent actions. You can't very well take the cattle to market before letting them feed themselves.
