It looks like fromt he recent experience SD;s have increased.. Any pointers on how to begin preparation for it..

PR and Kaplan dont go through SD at all.. In both their math workouts too they dont have any problems..

Can some one point me out to some basic study materials i need to brush up please on this?

even I could not find much about few topics...

about SD I would suggest that just go through basic understanding of euqation and write few numbers and see how mean, SD and Median are behaving it will be helpful exercise..

I got this question from OG-11(PS-212)...

I 72,73,74,75,76
II 74,74,74,74,74
III 62,74,74,74,89

Arrange I,II and III data set in ordered from greatest Standard Deviation to least Standard Deviation..

I didn't really find any useful links, maybe you can try searching on Google

Just know the basics of SD, what it is, how it relates to the mean, the percentage distributions around the mean, beyond 1 SD, 2 SDs, etc. It also wouldn't hurt to know the formula on how to calculate SDs. I think its safe to say that only a normal bell-curved distribution will be tested.
