I prefer "due to " here 'cos it acts as a adjective a cause and effect statement

"Due to" modifies nouns where as 'cos of modifies verbs

I would have also gone for due to ...

due to A or to B.

Due to correctly means 'attributable to' not because.

Due to = Adjective
Because of = Verb

Due to in the example sentence modifies the Noun Time (it may not be a good "time" to have a baby etc.. <due> etc...)

There should not be a comma before because. Is it not correct?
