It seems as if everyone does well on the Quant section but struggles in the Verbal. But its the opposite for me!! What can I do for intense Quant training??

hahah lucky you .... it's much easier to improve quant
are you very weak ? or have the fundamentals but you face problems with the advanced topics ?

I would say that I'm very weak! I have some fundamentals at times but when I see the practice test I freeze up. I think my main problem is translating what the question is really asking. (i.e If y is divisible by the square of an even prime number and x is the actual square of an even prime number, then what is the units digit of xy?) its like I go blank after reading.

it's OK
that's because you are not familiar with these problems
study with mgmat strategy books
they help you to rephrase every question to make it easy and as simple as possible
and practice practice practice ....
