Hello everyone!!
I have hit a dead end in my career research and am finding it really difficult to get more
information about my areas of interest. i had posted some question in the existing threads and also private messaged some of the folks but i guess those threads are not active any more.
I am looking forward to some inputs about careers in 'IT strategy & consulting'.
When i talk about IT consulting i mean the non-software domain.
A few question:
a) Can a general management curriculum lead to an IT consulting career or the curriculum like 'Management of Information Systems' of the Boston University the best bet for the same?
b) What are the kind of projects and responsibilities an IT consultant fulfills?
I am aware that there are no straight answers to this question but any insight would help.
All the more beneficial if someone who is already working as a Tech consultant walk us through some of his experiences and day to day tasks.
regards
