This question basically is testing us on how much information do we need to solve for 2 variables.
Let a can of Iceberg coffee be represented by x and a carton of Fresh Made Cream be represented by y
(1) Two cans of Iceberg Coffee and five cartons of Fresh Made Cream cost Jack $12.10.
2x + 5y = 12.10
We have a single equation and two variables, we cannot solve this
NOT SUFFICIENT
(2) Mike bought half as many cans of coffee and two fewer cartons of cream than Jack and it cost him $6.50.
Again, two variables and a single equation

Combining both
