two ways to solve :
method 1:
5!/ 1!*1!*2! = 60
method 2: 5c1*4c1* 3c2 = 5*4*3 = 60

The question can be done in 2 steps:
1) select 4 individuals can be chosen out of 5 in 5C4 or 5C1 ways = 5 ways
2) Now we need to assign the designations: P, VP, T, T
it can be done in 4!/(2!) = 12 ways
Hence total no of ways = selection and assigning designation = 5*12 = 60
Answer D
