21x+11y=284
I think the best way to solve this question is to check the answer choice. Y could be minimum 0 and could be maximum 4.
If y=0, then 21x=284. x cannot be integer. A is out.
If y=1, then 21x=284-11=273 —> x=13(integer). Answer choice is B.
We don’t need to check other answers.
