Hi
GMATAA0000, I can see where you are getting the idea of Germany being great for Tech profiles - It has been a while since Germany has carved a niche for itself for MS programs , however there are major schools like WHU, HHL and Mannheim who are making a name for the MSc programs as well.
Here are some pointers on how to proceed ahead:
1. Getting into Management Consulting in Germany
As far as management consulting goes, Consulting is one of the major sector that MiM applicants get placed in for most of the major schools. The Tier-1 consulting companies will be recruiting from Germany's top schools, so if you target the prominent ones, you will get the network of the major consulting brands.
The top 3 of Germany are WHU-HHL-Mannheim followed by Frankfurt and ESMT.
Also note that, Consulting is a client-side profile so learning German is necessary.
2. Profile Evaluation:
You have a pretty good profile - Work Ex, GMAT look good. GPA is fair enough.
However, Mannheim is a public university so there is bound to be some stiff competition. Make sure that you are judicious about how your are highlighting your profile strengths. We have analyzed the profiles of applicants selected for Mannheim's MiM program and have designed an algorithm where we can gauge the your selection chances in Mannheim by assigning you a profile score.
To access your profile score and subsequently gauge your chances at Mannheim, you can take up a profile evaluation here:
