A carton of mango juice costs $0.43 and a carton of cranberry juice costs $0.53. In how many ways can John spend all $25 to buy juice cartons?

C. 2
D. 3
E. 4

Let's assume M and C to be the number of cartons of mango and cranberry juice respectively.

We can form the equation 43M + 53C = 2500. Basically, we have x of both the cartons and
either some more Mango or some more Cranberry cartons.
The equation can also become 96x + 43n = 2500 or 96x + 53n = 2500
For the units digit to end with zero, the various combinations for x,n are (7,6),(9,2),(5,0)

Whatever the case, we cannot end up in a way where John spends exactly $2500(Option A)
