We are asked if one approves , the other doesn't approve the proposal probability.
it can be possible only if (Adam approves and baker rejects) or (Adam rejects and baker approves).
We are given P(Adam approves) = 6/10 , so P(Adam rejects) = 4/10.
Similarly for P(Bryan approves once Adam approves) = 8/10 so, P(Bryan rejects after Adam approves) = 2/10.
P(Brayan approves after Adam rejects) = 3/10

Probability = \(6/10*2/10 + 4/10*3/10\) = \(6/25\) = 0.24

if P (adams approve) = 0.6, then p(baker approves) = 0.8
so, P(baker not approves) = 0.2
P(adam not approving) =0.4

if adam doesnt approve then p(baker approve) = 0.3

find P (one approve but other not)

it means when adam approves then baker wont or in other scenario, when adam doesnt approve, baker will approve.

P( adam approves) *P(baker doesnt) + P(adam doesnt) * P(baker approves)
(0.6) (0.2) + (0.4)(0.3)
0.24
