Hi Hjort,
I have a question regarding JD/MBA candidates. I plan on applying for a JD/MBA, but feel that my business school application is much stronger than my law school aplpication. If I apply to a joint program at an ultra elite, but get rejected by the law school, will that decrease my chances for admission at the business school? If so, maybe I should only apply to the business school?
I would appreciate your thoughts.

I think the real question is whether you really need a joint degree. A joint degree is a major investment so it is crucual to be committed to earning both degrees. If you are even considering omitting one of the degrees, I would re-examine whether getting both degrees is worthwhile for you.
