Hi,
Can someone tell me a bit more about joint & dual degrees? In particular, the ones that Stanford, NYU, Columbia, Cornell, etc. There a few joint/dual degrees that interest me like MS in computer science + MBA being offered at Stanford and so, others like MS in Math/MBA. But I don't know too much about them in the context of:
1) How they advance careers particularly over just a regular MBA?
2) How difficult is it to get accepted into a joint/dual degree as oppose to a regular MBA?
3) Let's say I'm currently pursuing a BBA, how likely is it will I get accepted into a MS for math/computer science/engineering program? Basically, to get a joint/dual degree with a MS, do you need a BS in math/computer science/engineering?
4) How about with other joint dual degrees that deal with foreign language studies and such, such as the ones offered by Wharton for MBA + International Studies?
If this questions been asked, please just post links to the forum and I can re-read it. I had trouble finding answers for this question.
Thanks,
Shu
