The easiest question to ask is why did I choose to study at Tsinghua University in Beijing China. I could sit here and spew statistics that qualify Tsinghua as a leading global university, but that is neither informative or interesting. The reason that Tsinghua stands out is simply the amount of opportunities that they provide the students, from short learning trips to top universities to lectures from leading individuals in their respective fields. In the first year alone, I have been privileged to hear from Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Ma, Dominic Barton, and so many more successful individuals. I have had the opportunity to grow with my classmates, truly forming a diverse family from the four corners of the world.
Tsinghua University also gives the students the best tools for success in future endeavors. We have access to the highly successful X-Lab for business ventures as well as competing in the many business competitions that have provided a great learning experience.
My one recommendation to the prospective students is that you stay active. I found that I took away as much as I decided to put in. Tsinghua has been a very rewarding experience and look forward to all the future students.
