I participated about 5-7 years ago prior to going to b-school. Great networking opportunity with other future b-school students as well as a good opportunity to build relationships with some recruiters. Good to attend if it is convenient for you. I would not necessarily turn the world upside down to attend but a good program

I see thanks for the response Veritas Prep. I have heard they have become really selective on whom they admit - any tips? Additionally, since this is the first time you face recruiters, one should be prepared with atleast why i-banking/consulting/cpg (or whatever field you are getting into) as well as know a bit more about the companies at the event. Any thoughts?

What did the programming look like for you if you recall.

Thanks,

I would say just be clear on your interest in the designated industries of interest and come across polished and professional. The leadership there are about business so tend to appreciate people who are the same. On the recruiting side yes I would just be prepared, you will have some insight into the companies and people who will be in attendance in advance so you can be somewhat prepared. But you have the right idea know why the industry and know a few things about the companies. Part of the program is designed around helping you learn more about the MBA recruiting process and the specific companies in attendance so don't be too nervous. Another portion is around networking with other incoming MBAs
