Hi akash7gupta11,

Do you mean the it in option C? I'm not comfortable with the OA (C), but I think we can safely say that the it is meant to refer to television. That is, businesses use television to connect with people.

Television is employed to create groups of people, just as the tribes of our ancestors were, around similar interests, and businesses use it to connect with such “tribes' of people who show interest in their services.

AjiteshArun Ah yes I meant it. Thank you on that.
Next , in choice C, do you see an illogical comparison?
Between the the tribes of our ancestors were
And , Television is employed to create
C. Television is employed to create groups of people, just as the tribes of our ancestors were, around similar interests, and businesses use it

Possibly, though maybe the sentence is meant to be read as:

1. Television is employed to create groups of people, just as the tribes of our ancestors were (groups of people)...
and not
2. Television is employed to create groups of people, just as the tribes of our ancestors were (employed to create groups of people)...

However, even if we ignore that issue, I still can't "see" option C.

Tagging DavidTutorexamPAL on this one (the question is tagged as "ExamPal").

Hey AjiteshArun, thanks for the question!
What is the source of this question? It seems like a pilot version of a question we have on our site.
In the updated question, C) reads:
"Television is employed to create groups of people, such as the tribes of our ancestors, around similar interests, and businesses use it"

In this phrasing, the issue you correctly pointed out does not exist.
Hope this clears it up1
