Hi,
I would appreciate some help in evaluating where I stand with my current preparation.
I gave the Kaplan Prep test today and scored 630 with V34 & Q43.
I am yet to start with the revision of topics and wish to score 700+ in the actual GMAT.
I wanted to know if Kaplan tests are still considered to be more difficult than the actual GMAT?
My GMAT date is 25th November.
Though I realise that it varies from person to person, but in general, would 700+ score be a logical target for me at this point?

Hi adityakhaire,
With a November 25th Test Date, you have less than 3 weeks of study time remaining. Raising a 630 to a 700+ in that time is possible, but it might be too challenging to be considered realistic. As such, you would likely find it beneficial to push back your Test Date so that you can continue studying.
Before I can offer you the additional specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
4) Did you take the FULL CAT each time (with the Essay and IR sections)?
Goals:
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hey thanks Rich,
Iv been studying for 15-20 days now. And im currently not working so I have a lot of free time to invest in.
Ive been following the OG mostly and also the gmatclub helps to clear concepts.
Ive taken 2 full length tests so far, Both with Essay and IR.
GmatPrep test before i started studying, where I scored around 550 with Q39 and V26 IR 6.
And the Kaplan free prep test is what is took yesterday.
Im planning to apply for 2017 intake.
Im applying for Masters in Management as i have less than 2 yrs of experience, focusing on schools like HEC, EmLyon, Essec, EDHEC and similar.
