Hi adityakhaire,

Since you've just taken a CAT, you should put in the time to properly review it. We need to determine WHY you're getting questions wrong, so that you can spend the next few weeks studying in the most efficient way possible.

After reviewing the Quant and Verbal sections, how many questions did you get wrong....
1) Because of a silly/little mistake?
2) Because there was some math/verbal that you just couldn't remember how to do?
3) Because the question was too hard?
4) Because you were low on time and had to guess?

Depending on your analysis of your results, you might end up needing more study time than you've allotted. Do you have the flexibility to push back your Test Date?

Hi adityakhaire,

I have a few follow-up questions regarding your application plans:

1) What are the upcoming application deadlines for each of the Schools that you plan to apply to? And is there another application Round later on?
2) If you don't score 700+ on the GMAT, would you still apply? For example, what if you scored 680? What about if you scored 650?

Hi adityakhaire,

With the extra information that you've provided, you could potentially study for an additional 4 weeks before your application deadlines even START to hit. While I understand that you would probably want to focus solely on your applications (and have a strong GMAT score 'locked up' before then), your current timeline is problematic. This ultimately comes down to what's MORE important in your mind: taking the GMAT on November 25th OR getting a 700+ score?
