Hi,
I'm taking the GMAT on 9/23 and I'm a bit nervous. I've taken a month off of work to study and I was progressing quite well. So far, I've completed OG11, OGQ2, part of OGV2, and the Kaplan 2010 Premier book. As you can see from my study material, I've been putting off taking the test since 2009.
I'm freaking out a bit because my scores on the CAT exams are decreasing. Below are my scores.
9/9, Kaplan CAT 1: 750 (Q50, V52)
9/10, GMATPrep CAT1: 720 (Q48, V42)
9/12, Kaplan CAT2: 660 (Q42, V41)
9/14, Kaplan CAT3: 650 (Q42, V39)
I've heard that the Kaplan CAT's are harder than the actual, but then again, I did quite well on the first one. Also, all the info I've seen about Kaplan tests being harder seems to be dated back in 2008 and I've seen Kaplan instructors disputing this trend. Even though the Kaplan book I'm using is from 2010, I think that the CAT's are up to date since it is through their online interface.
I'm having a bit of a crisis of confidence now. Does anyone have any insight in regard to the Kaplan CAT's or how indicative they are of your actual score?
Thanks for the help,
Rex
