Hi I just took my first test, got Q 49 and V 43 .I am looking to cross the 700 mark. Can anyone suggest what I should focus on regarding verbal? I have about 4 weeks before the real deal.
If you haven't already done it take a GMAT Prep test. Its a free download provided by GMAC and a better predictor of actual score. Use it to identify areas of improvement and focus on them.
Don't take paper tests...only take CATs if you want to approximate your score. The experience is entirely different, and that 690 on the paper test will lull you into a false sense of security.
Definitely do the GMATPrep tests; those are a must as they are the official ones. The Princeton Review tests are also adaptive and highly recommended.
