Hey guys,
Just took a practice Kaplan test at the Test Center and boy am I down. 640, i got 14 wrong on the math and even more on verbal.
I felt good during the test, kept getting brutal math questions. For example, I was given 2 probability questions as the 34 and 35 questions in the math section.
Also, the RC was terrible. I scored a 35 percent on RC, a topic that I am usually good (relatively) at. For example, I finished with a verbal 39-40 on
MGMAT, and I do reasonably well on GMAT prep verbal, especially RC.
I dont know what to make of it.... I hear that kaplan updated their algorithm, so is my score accurate?
Before this I scored 660, 690, 700 on
MGMAT and 730 on GMAT prep (w a few repeats so its inflated).
I guess my main question is...if you get 14 questions wrong, but they are all hard, are you guranteed for a q 40? And the same for Verbal?
Thanks ahead of time.
