Most of the rumors of our tests being too hard were exaggerated--out internal numbers show our tests to very closely correlate to real GMAT performance. However, at Kaplan, we're always striving to make a better product for our students, and this new, more accurate scoring algorithm is just one of the many changes we're making in the 2010 edition to help our students even more than we already did.

Unfortunately, I don't know the Kaplan Publishing materails that well--our classroom materials and the books sold at Barnes and Nobles are handled by different branches of the company. That being said, everyone online should get the same tests, regardless of whether they're logging on through a mac or pc.
