Paul Thank you for the insight.

RC is really brutal in the KAPLAN CD. So do you advice that I religiously do the VERBAL section from the OG ?Would that be good enough?

Also are there any significant variations in the VERBAL section between the OG and the REAL GMAT.
I know for certain that OG does not fully represent the MATH section appearing in the REAL GMAT(You encounter much harder stuff).

hi there,

Well you are good at Quant, but if you can try to do better on verbal it's good for you.

It's very true that they are tough, but i think the basic fundamentals are same.

Your scores are great i think you can do lot better. :good

If you go through OG in detail, you should be doing good in the exam. For additional "sweetener", download the 885SC at https://www.gmatclub.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=5210 and you should have plenty of material there. Remember though that it is not sufficient to just do a lot of practice. The most important is to go through the concepts and make sure you understand them. Check out the "verbal lesson forum" and you will find some attachments for CR questions which are of very good quality. I suggest you to download those as well.

I think Paul is right.
The most important factor is basic fundamentals.
I'm just done woth my all KAPLAN CATs here are my scores.

CAT-1; 540 Quant-40; Verbal-18
CAT-2; 660 Quant-49; Verbal-33
CAT-3; 660 Quant-50; Verbal-30
CAT-4; 650 Quant-51; Verbal-28
CAT-5; 660 Quant-49; Verbal-31

I found myself ok with CR, but RC was horrible and SC sometimes ok sometimes....... .

And i think if i were worked on my SC section a bit more i had done better than this.

But RC is just a game of concentration, I can say i drove my score totally with CR & SC. Sometimes i did ok on RC sometimes i got totally busted.

Just work on fundamentals.........that's it :cool
