Kaplan vs GMAT Software - large difference in test scores...  [#permalink]

I have been taking several Kaplan practice tests and just recently also took the GMAT Software free tests. I have seen a large difference in the practice test scores between the two sources. My Kaplan scores are consistent as are the GMAT Software scores but there is a huge difference between the two.

Anyone else experience this? If so, what which is the best measure of my progress?

It's not a good idea to compare scores across test providers.

To answer your question: the GMATPrep tests are better than any other practice tests. Analyze your Kaplan tests to identify your weaknesses, but don't rely on them for scoring.
